San Jose is Part of the Creative Network
San Jose is a member of the Creative Network, a LAUSD program for the arts. Every student in K-5th grade will receive specific arts instruction across the year, rotating through classes in each discipline taught by experts.

Instrumental Music
If your 3rd, 4th or 5th grader is interested in playing an instrument, he or she will have the opportunity this year. Students will be able to select a wind or string instrument and learn how to play it on Tuesdays with our instrumental music teacher, Garnet Basile.
